Overview

Enterprise Resource Planning system built for PT. Fia Express Indonesia, a leading logistics company in Indonesia. The system manages end-to-end logistics operations including shipment tracking, warehouse management, financial accounting, and reporting. It is also integrated with major local couriers—JNT Express, JNT Cargo, Kalog, and others—enabling unified booking, tracking, and label generation from a single ERP; all courier integrations were designed and implemented in-house.

The Challenge

Inherited a legacy system riddled with critical bugs and architectural issues from previous developers. The codebase had severe business logic errors, data inconsistencies, poor database design, and no proper error handling. The system was unstable, frequently crashed, and couldn't scale. Multiple disconnected modules made it impossible to maintain or extend functionality.

The Solution

Led a complete system refactoring and rebuild. Rewrote nearly the entire codebase with proper architecture patterns, fixed critical business logic errors, redesigned the database schema for better performance, and implemented comprehensive error handling and logging. Built a unified ERP system with real-time tracking, automated workflows, and scalable architecture to handle growing transaction volume.
